Success

Now I understood why both my RAM can't be put to work together. My original RAM has a CL of 2.5 while my new RAM has a CL of 3. By the way, CL is also known as CAS Latency. Now, I have to give in to technology. I did not know that RAMs are further divided into other categories. But hey, look on the bright side, at least now I know the difference :D

Went back to the computer shop last night with both my RAMs new and old and they gave a good explanation. They even replaced my new Kingston ram with Corsair 512 and both RAM work perfectly well now.

On the other hand, yesterday I managed to make a good progress in my work. Nothing much happened except for the few times when my boss walks in and orders us around. At least that brings our department to life.

Long day

Yesterday was a long and tiring day. Had an ugly discussion with the boss and things were in a mess at work. When I came back home, I was so tired I could fall asleep if I were to lie down! But I didn't, I turned to my trusty computer to find something that could lift my day at least a little. Then I saw this pic and I thought to myself, things aren't that bad after all .

Today started of with a bright sunshine and a cool breeze around the house. Hope today is much better then yesterday.

Sucky day...

Today seemed to be the worst day of my life dealing with computers. Just bought a 512MB PC3200 Kingston RAM. When add it into one of the RAM slots on my mother board, it just wont power up. I'm currently using 256MB PC2700 Apacer RAM. According to the tech guy at the computer shop where I bought the RAM, there won't be any problem installing both RAMs together! But now it seemed both RAMs can't work together. Sigh.. guess I'll have to return the RAM tomorrow and ask for an explanation again. What a waste of time.

For now, it's bedtime for me. Won't want to stay up all night to work this problem out. Got to hand it over to the IT guys, anyway that's what they are suppose to do.

Yay!

Finally bought a new mouse! Its been a while since a bought one :D This time its black in color. My previous mouse is white in color

Huh? What kind of mouse? A mouse for the computer of course! What were u thinking? A live mouse that run around and need lots of care and attention? Oh common... I couldn't even keep my pet dog clean and u expect me to keep a mouse clean? I'll be dead before I could touch the mouse. By the way in case you don't know, I'm scared of little tiny creatures that run around. Haha!

My next target is to upgrade my computer's hard disk to 80Gb and RAM (random access memory) by 512MB . Currently it's living on a 40Gb HDD and 256MB ram. Yeah.. I know its kind of out dated spec for a computer. But I bought it around 2 years ago, its quite good at that time but now... Sigh how can one keep in pace with technology.

Scorching heat

Phew! Just got off from work and I have to squint my eyes while walking to my car. The heat today is terrible! But then again its just another day in sunny Malaysia haha.

Its funny knowing that some Europeans love Malaysian weather and most Malaysians don't like the heat around here. But that's life, you wont appreciate what you have until you have lost it ;)

Anyway I'm back home and with my air conditioning turned on a full blast, I'll take my nap soon :p

ps: For latest update on the weather in Malacca or Malaysia pls visit Malacca Weather

Looking back

Finally I found my desire (and time) to blog again. It has been quite sometime since my last post.

What made me want to blog again? Well.. maybe its because of some friends whom I have lost contact with for a long time and I think blogging is the only way to keep in touch. Well at least that's what I think.

Anyway lots of stuff happened while I wasn't blogging. Way too much to type so I think I'll just post the recent ones. The latest happenings was my Sheffield Hallam University Convocation. Yeah my degree convocation. Finally I graduated! Met allot of friends during that ceremony. Some of them looked better some beyond recognition. haha well I exaggerate a little but the main point is that everyone have changed, they are not the people that I used to know back in college and university.

Enough talk, below are two of the best photoshot during the convocation. Cheers to all my friends out time spent together are memories that will last for eternity!
